Over the past two and a half years my husband and I have tried in vain to find suitable housing, that is, until we were put in touch with Shalini Madaras this past September. Although the first house we found with Shalini ended up inexplicably not being ours, she worked with us tirelessly to find a home that worked with my husband’s special needs as a disabled veteran. Shalini’s relentless search helped us to find a house to rent soon afterwards. When the landlord became untenable Shalini took up our cause once again. Her dedication, professionalism and commitment helped us move into a new home on 27 March.

Having spent two years searching before finding Shalini, only to have landlords either turn their backs or never call back because of my husband’s status as a disabled veteran; it was a great relief and pleasure to have her on our side. Shalini witnessed the treatment we had been getting with the first house she helped us find and from that day forward she was committed to vetting the landlord for us as best as possible. To that end Shalini did her best to make sure, before we even went to look at a property, that our situation was known thus saving us time and heartache. Due in no small part to Shalini’s diligence, our new landlord chose our offer over two others and we were finally able have a home which accommodates all of my husband’s therapy needs.

We are very proud to know Shalini, a woman of ethics who goes above and beyond to do what is right and help others. In any property matter we will certainly call Shalini first and will happily recommend her to anyone we know who can use her expertise.
